Great to see Matthew Juke's raving about Kumeu River Estate Chardonnay - we've been huge fans for a long time!

It was very gratifying to see one of the UK's most highly regarded wine journalists giving a ringing endorsement for the work us 'Indie's' are doing in bringing exciting and innovative wine drinking pleasure to our customers. Read Anthony Rose's article from the Independent.

• Thursday 13th September at 7pm: Masterclass #1 - Sparkling wine & Champagne
  £25 per person or £60  if you book and pay for all THREE Masterclasses in one go
  This is the start of a new season of Masterclasses and the first one will seek to uncover some of the mysteries of Sparkling wine & Champagne with a tasting of 6-8 wines in our delightful tasting room above the shop.

Friday 28th September: Wine & Tapas in the shop 5-7pm

• Come in and taste some of our favourite wines, meet fellow Caviste wine lovers and eat some tasty food... perfect to stop off on your way home and stock up for the week-end.Best of all, it's totally free - all welcome and do bring friends along too!

• Thursday 4th October at 7pm: Masterclass #2 - White & Red Wines from Around the world.
  £25 per person or £60  if you book and pay for all THREE Masterclasses in one go.
  The 2nd in our new series of Masterclass for Autumn. This evening will take a vinous tour of the worlds many of white and red wines by tasting different grapes and various wine styles.

• Thursday 11th October, 7-9pm: Autumn Wine Tasting at Sir Terrance Conran's Benchmark Furniture.
  This will be your first opportunity to taste our latest wine discoveries for Autumn drinking. Special offers for wines bought that evening.

• Thursday 18th October at 7-9pm: The Mysteries of Malt, part 1
  £25 per person to include tasting & a light supper
  We welcome Bill Hutcheson from Independent Scottish Whisky producer Gordon & MacPhail who will present the first of two Malt Whisky tastings this Autumn. The second tasting will be on Thursday 18th October. The two tastings can be taken individually or together. If you book both you get the two for £45!
  (Note for those having attended our first Whisky tasting back in April - this evening will introduce a different line-up to that one so perfect opportunity to taste some new Malt's for Christmas...)

  The 3rd and final session in this seasons series of Masterclass. We will concentrate on Fortified and sweet wines - perfect timing with Christmas just around the corner and sticky puddings looking for the perfect partner!

• Thursday 14th November at 7-9pm: More Malt Magic.
  £25 per person to include tasting & a light supper.
  Bill Hutcheson from Independent Scottish Whisky producer Gordon & MacPhail will make a return to lead us through More Malt Magic. This time we delve deeper into the intricacies of Malt Whisky to explore the distilleries and flavours in more detail. Remember, if you book BOTH whisky tastings together you get them for £45.

  Our Grand Christmas Wine Tasting.
