DMT Wine Imports was set up in 2002 by David Thomas, a Roseworthy trained oenologist after spending the 2002 vintage working in Australia. Over the past two years DMT Wine Imports has been importing a portfolio of wines from a group of emerging new Barossan wine-makers, whose wines are rapidly gaining recognition around the world.

Originally part of The Cellar Door, David’s Hampshire-based wine merchant, the importation business became DMT Wine Imports Ltd in August 2004. The new company is owned jointly by The Cellar Door and Bordeaux Index, one of the UK’s leading fine wine traders.

DMT Wine Imports Ltd’s portfolio now includes the following wines, all from very small production wineries and made by the new generation of Australian wine-makers.
