Domaine Jaboulet Philippe et Vincent boasts a rich heritage dating back to the 19th century, across six generations.

After 30 years at the heart of the family domaine 'Paul Jaboulet Aîné', Philippe and his son took on a new project in the Cotes du Rhône.

Philippe Jaboulet, has dedicated his life to wine where the vineyard is his domain.

Vincent Jaboulet, the winemaker, has spent years studying vine growing and wine wine making, with numerous vintages in France and Australia under his belt.

With a steadfast commitment to quality and tradition, the estate has garnered acclaim both locally and internationally. Each bottle bears the mark of centuries of expertise and a dedication to preserving the essence of the Rhône terroir.

Exploring the Terroir

The terroir of Domaine Jaboulet Philippe et Vincent is characterised by its diverse microclimates, which contribute to the unique expression of each wine.

From the sun-drenched slopes of the vineyards to the rocky, limestone-rich soil, every element plays a crucial role in shaping the flavour profile of the grapes.

Their vineyards are across the Northern Rhône with each displaying a unique character where there’s not a Grenache grape in sight! Here, Syrah takes the lead for the reds.

Crozes-Hermitage
The largest amount under vine, spanning roughly 25 hectares.

Hermitage
The most prestigious wine of the northern Côte du Rhône region. The Jaboulets have an incredible plot of just 1.3 hectares for their Syrah and Marsanne.

Cornas
A red-only appellation with vineyards on the western slopes of the Rhône. Holding just 2.5 hectares on granite soil.

Collines Rhodaniennes
Sourced across the vineyards, including small plot (5 hectares), that sit outside the famous name, of Syrah and Viognier.

We stock a range from the domaine, from their Collines Rhodaniennes AOC Syrah & Viognier through their exceptional Ermitage Rouge & Blanc.

Collines Rhodaniennes Viognier: You may not know "Collines Rhodaniennes" as an appellation, but it spans the northern Rhône Valley's most well-known regions of Côte Rôtie, Condrieu, and Hermitage. This wine is floral, spiced, and velvety; an exquisite example of Rhône Viognier and half the price of a good Condrieu.

Crozes-Hermitage: Crafted from Syrah grapes grown in the northern Rhône Valley, Crozes-Hermitage is a vibrant and approachable wine that showcases the terroir of the region. With its bold flavours and silky tannins, it is a perfect embodiment of the estate's commitment to excellence.

Cornas: A wine revered for its power and intensity. Made from grapes grown in the rugged terrain of the Cornas appellation, these exhibit bold fruit flavours, firm tannins, and a distinctive sense of place.

Sustainability & Innovation

They have achieved HVE Level 3 certification - the highest available - which can only be gained by methods of preservation for the natural while encouraging biodiversity. This includes the domaine's own bees!
